Solar power boat

 solarpowered-boat

German shipbuilding Knierim Yachtbau team built the largest solar boat in existence. Called “Solar Planet” , this boat is skippered and managed by Raphaël Domjan and Gerard d’Aboville who  design it in Dell inspiron 1545 battery . The boat started the month and the official launch is planned for April this year. The boat has a cost of $ 24 million to build.

The boat is a catamaran which measures 100 ft x 50 ft, we can get the maximum speed of 15 knots and can contain up to 50 passengers. It multihulled and is topped with 500 meters of solar photovoltaic panels that can power a Inspiron 1525 Battery.

Solar Planet has an interesting and futuristic was 13 months in the shipyard built and designed. The construction crew boat wants more solar technology to replace the Inspiron 1526 Battery, planet of the solar energy using unique concepts and technological advances no boat has seen to date.

Immo Stroeher, owner of the multi-hull boat wanted above all to emphasize the technological importance of the event: “Every step of the Planet solar project is another step in the development of renewable energy technologies t. thank you in ambitious projects of scientific research is in progress by your XPS M1330 Battery. ”

Planet solar will be the world tour which is scheduled to launch in 2011.

The boat is a multihull PlanetSolar topped with photovoltaic solar panels. Under construction since August, he will enjoy impressive proportions, yet quiet and clean. The goal is to sail an average speed of 8 knots around the world, a considerable speed boat powered by Inspiron E1505 Battery solar energy.

The host two multihull sailors in the world tour and to fifty persons during navigations provided for promotional stops.

Numerous studies have determined its size and its ideal forms depending on the route. The engineers must manage PlanetSolar XPS M1530 Battery propulsion, the design of solar panels and storage of energy, materials and external environment. Many studies will also be made in these areas.

One Building that Proves Solar Power Can Be Profitable

passive-solar-home-panels

In central France lies Poitiers, a city rich in Roman architecture and medieval history. Modern building in Poitiers is constructing a new sort of history, however, an energy-efficient, IBM ThinkPad T61 Battery solar-powered and potentially profitable history. Sipea, a local non-profit builder of social housing in the city, is installing solar electricity at its headquarters to sell back to the power grid.

Sipea’s homes are built to Passive House (PassivHaus in Europe) standards, which means they are very well-insulated, use passive solar heat to its  IBM ThinkPad T60 Battery maximum potential and utilize a host of other green building features.

But what is most fascinating about Sipea’s Poitiers headquarters are the unique solar modules. Instead of typical ibm thinkpad x41 battery solar modules, the building uses transparent solar panels that convert sunlight into electricity while allowing a speckling of natural light indoors. The solar cells are not wholly transparent. They’re spaced a bit apart and sandwiched between two high-efficiency ThinkPad X41 Tablet Battery panes of glass, thus allowing natural light through while protecting against direct glare from the sun.

The building has extremely low heating and cooling costs – a hallmark of Passive House design – which help facilitate the profitability of its solar electric system. The combination of that VGP-BPS9/B VGP-BPS9/S solar electricity, passive solar design, tight insulation and other green building tactics make Sipéa’s headquarters net-negative, meaning it creates more energy than it consumes.

The building-integrated solar system produces roughly 9,000 kilowatt-hours of Sony VGP-BPS8 electricity per year, which garners the organization a small profit thanks to energy conservation and France’s national feed-in tariff for renewable power. You might justly figure that the building must be tiny and short on creature comforts  VGP-BPS2 Sony VGP-BPS2C, but in fact, the new headquarters is much larger than its predecessor and has lower yearly operating costs.

how to make solar panel yourself

Learn how to build your own solar panel in 6 easy steps.

Every passing day it seems that we have more information on our hands about the concerns of the environment.

Learning how to create your own energy source will not only benefit you now but also far into the future. Imagine being given the ability to build your own solar panel in your very own backyard Battery 4 US.

It is possible and here are some simple steps on how you can build your very own energy producing solar panel.

First things first you need to find yourself a small solar panel that is 12 volts Dell laptop battery or higher. In this case a 16 volt solar panel will suit your needs the best.

It is pretty easy to find a panel like this and your best bet is to go shopping at a local RV Sony laptop battery  store or even a small marina. You should be able to find one that is priced around or even below $100.

The next thing you are going to need is a battery. While you may be tempted to go big or go home on this one iBook G4 battery , a smaller yet rechargeable battery is your best bet.

A 12 volt lead or acid battery will do the trick. The type you are looking for here is a deep cell battery as they are built the best for constant and continuous use.

In order to build your solar panel safely you will also want to purchase a battery box. This will offer protection from the battery and the power it exudes in case you are working in small quarters Canon Camera battery  or have small children running around in the area.

The next materials required are a DC meter that matches the voltage of your battery and a DC input. These products will allow you to convert your energy from the panel and apply them to power sources around your home. Of course if you are hoping to power AC appliances you will need an inverter as well

It is now time to actually put the labor into your solar panel. Use a handheld drill to attach your meter and DC input to the top end of the DLSR Battery Grip box. Next use some insulated wire to connect the meter to the battery.

Be very careful to only work with one wire at a time and connect the first wire to the negative input first. Use the same procedure to connect the DC inlet and the solar panel to the battery itself.

Now you are ready to start converting the sun’s power into your own usable energy. Close the lid tight with a cord and put the entire product out into the sun. Wait for about 8 hours and then get ready to bask in some home made energy Laptop battery.
