With some basic equipment and some cables, DIY a solar panel charger to power your iPhone is a very cool thing. The small solar panels are available in all sizes. Building a solar charger for a scientific project to enjoy the simple process development of solar energy.

Use the terminal in place of the solder joints to make the work faster and easier. Select a battery with the installed cable.  It is available in most hardware stores. Select a leads installed solar panel.

Insert 4 AA batteries in two battery holders.

Wire the holders together to make a series connection for the battery charger. Take a positive lead from one container to another negative cable. Leave the other positive and negative lines only.

Join the blocking diode and the battery charger. Use the ringed end. Connect this to the positive wire from the battery holder.

Connect the other end of the blocking diode to the solar panel.

Take the negative output of the solar panel, and connect it to the negative wire from the battery holders.

Charge the solar panel, and watch it charge the batteries.
