Survey: Programs cleaners
During normal computer use, a lot of useless files of various nature builds up on the hard drive, browser cache, temporary files and backups are a few examples.
Delete all these files on your own is far too tedious and heavy, so it is best to use specialized software to clean hard drives. You may already know CCleaner but is the best?
Then we will compare five disk-cleaning software completely free: Argente Disk Cleaner, BleachBit, CCleaner, ClearProg and FCleaner.
Cleaning
Ideally, such programs are effectively useless as many files as possible. In addition, the search should be accurate, since no one wants to delete important files by mistake. And let’s not forget the speed, it is not pleasing to anyone looking to stay while the computer works.
In terms of speed, it is noteworthy that Argente Disk Cleaner is especially slow, because their search is in deep folder to folder. You can configure file types to be searched, but still, with a hard disk quite full, the analysis will take more than ten minutes. Pretty faster the other, where the average is between one two, with BleachBit the fastest, but FCleaner and CCleaner, with slightly longer, achieve better results in terms of free disk space.
The cleanability performance is quite uneven. FCleaner is getting more free space, followed very closely by CCleaner. BleachBit is much more clear about this, but its interface is so simplified that are missing options (literally just two).
A regular user will feel much more comfortable with Argente Disk Cleaner, which is structured similarly to most maintenance programs. Similarly, we miss being able to select which files to be erased and what not, and the total size to be released. FCleaner is very friendly, although perhaps a little abuse and sub-tabs that can be confusing at first.
Of all the programs compared, the only one I can be sure that anyone will be able to use without any problem is CCleaner. Its interface is clearly divided into distinct sections, like the Analyze button, then Run Cleaner.
Conclusions
Considering everything we’ve seen so far, it is clear that FCleaner CCleaner and programs are better prepared for the task. Its functions are very similar, even the way they are arranged the elements in its interface.
FCleaner shows more information such as statistics or breakdown of space to recover by category, which is a double-edged sword, because to change the result is more chaotic than CCleaner. In fact, one can say that much of this information, as recent articles in your blog, right enough.
