Technology Review, a publication of MIT, has just its annual list of the 10 new technologies that will change the world published one day. The list includes everything from phone screens in 3-D television social electronic medical implants. Three green innovations, including two solar energy applications, has it in the 2010 TR10 list. Each technology is that a researcher or a group to push certain area is connected. I think the future these green energy will replace the  traditional electronics like laptop battery, cell and so on.
Here are three I found most interesting:
Solar fuels

can can convert Joule Biotechnologies Noubar Afeyan genetically microorganisms, sunlight into ethanol or diesel, that one day make biofuels competitive with conventional diesel, gasoline or natural gas.
The light-trapping PV

Kylie Catchpole, National University of Australia, the efficiency of thin-film solar cells by depositing silver nanoparticles on the surface of the cell. This seems to raise more traps photons and the efficiency of the laptop battery cell. An innovation that contribute to the fact that solar power could be competitive with fossil fuels.
Green Concrete

The third innovation is an eco-concrete. At a time when cement production accounts for 5% of global carbon emissions, Nikolaos Vlasopoulos Novac has a cement that actually developed a carbon “sink” that absorbs and stores carbon for Sony PCGA-BP2EA. Ultimately, it could reduce and offset global carbon emissions from cement production.
What I find interesting on that painting the TR power of all innovations in the development of solar energy at the moment, solar solar space, chose solar fuels and the capture of light-PV as the most willing to change the world, as it now can replace the Sony VGP-BPS2C to power the laptop.
It is easy to understand how solar energy would fuel the list. What would be an incredible breakthrough, if free and abundant solar energy, could literally, to create clean fuel for our cars. An interesting note is the choice of Joule Biotechnologies own instead of Daniel Nocera MIT, whose company manufacture Sony VGP-BPS5A, Sun Catalytix has also developed a solar fuels. Nocera course includes a vision of a hydrogen fuel cell-class solar energy to GM Afeyan, photosynthetic microorganisms contrary.
The inclusion of a layer of silver catches the light in the thin-film solar cell is a little confusing. Just because I am on the quantity and the ease with which the efficiency of the cell increases confused. To be honest, I should push efficiency innovations all the time, many of which actually maybe what they say, but they are still in development … Kylie Catchpole of the ANU. So what makes this Silver Lining “promising than other research projects in the eyes of the TR?
Catchpole and staff of the ANU have been investigated, as the metal nanoparticles can increase the absorption of thin-film solar cells. Plata, apparently is the best in “dispersion” of light (and not from) a thin layer of silicon and a steady power supply for Sony VGP-BPS9. Because I have not read Catchpole research publications on the subject, I can not be sure how much more efficient, the study has its solar cell test – apparently enough to impress people by the magazine Technology Review made.
Finally, we have a concrete – a truly valuable innovation, if negotiable, the building uses as more and more efficient, new materials Sony VGP-BPS5 such as concrete with high thermal inertia. In order to really create a particular product that a carbon sink and not as a manufacturer of gas, so that undoubtedly changed the world.
